The Music Industry

Posted on Saturday 7 January 2006

I have run across some interesting blogs lately talking about the RIAA. User Friendly has some funny comics about them. This other site iTunes iSbogus, is pretty informative also.

I like the idea of being able to buy from the artist directly. The RIAA is one hell of a middle man.

This is from the iTunes iSbogus website: “Every time someone buys major label music, they’re propping up the cartel that keeps independent musicians off the radio. Plus they’re giving money to companies that are suing families with young children. ”
